" Mangaldai commerce collage is a premier collage of commerce education under Gauhati University experiencing the absence and realizing the urgent need of such an institution, a good number of people representing different walks of lives comprising education and intellectuals, social workers, thinkers, businessmen had made a drive to establish Mangaldai commerce college and consequently the college came in to existence in 1982. Since its inception the college has been striving for increasing access and equity in higher education and its democratization in the real sense of the term. At present the college offers the students a dynamic environment to develop their knowledge, skills, competence and attitude to use them for the GROWTH 📈 and prosperity of the society. The college has been brought under the provision of Assam college employees post ProvincializationAct,2011 with effect from 1st Jan 2013. The college has reached this level only with the fireless and selfless co-operation of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. The same should continue to reach the goal of making the institution a center of excellent to produce self-reliant and responsible graduates. The college commits to provide both academic and extra-curricular proficiency to its student to help them mould in to eligible future citizens.
